Crafting the Organic coconut sugar
Coconut sugar comes from the sap of coconut palm tree flower buds. The process starts with tapping these buds carefully to collect the naturally sweet sap. Bamboo tubes or clay pots are attached to the flower buds, allowing the sap to flow into them. Afterward, the collected sap undergoes heating to remove water content and concentrate the sugars. During this heating process, the sap thickens into a caramel-like consistency, with continuous stirring ensuring it reaches the desired crystallized state. Once crystallized, the coconut sugar is cooled and packaged, making it ready for use in various culinary applications. This traditional production method by Laurico Nutraceuticals preserves the natural flavours and nutrients of the coconut palm sap, resulting in a minimally processed, high-quality product.
